The first figure kneeling, from left is St. Gregory the Great pope, while the second has been identified with the apostle St. Thomas, as is apparent from an apocryphal gospel, he receives Girdle of the Holy Virgin. At the center, below the tomb of Mary. covered with flowers. The first figure to the right of the sarcophagus represents S. Francis behind him St. Bonaventura. Above the center Eternal Father blessing , between two angels who pray. The bezel rests on a frame adorned nine seraphim.
