During the summer life of the Sanctuary of La Verna takes particularly intense rhythms. Perhaps here was achieved by the phenomenon called "religious tourism" so the people do not goes into sanctuaries for spiritual purposes only. However, the Franciscans are primarily focus on the spiritual care, with plenty religious celebrations and good service to the word, and with the availability of many priests for the sacrament of reconciliation. From some years there are on the square the friars, who spend hours of the day, ready and available to anyone wishing to approach them and listen to them. After intense and prolonged conversation with the young friars, it often happens that the other person to walk away, not to take the way back, but to enter into basilica in order to extend in silence and prayer, conversation with God. This is the purpose that the "friars of the Square" wanted to achieve, to be signs that point the way to find God, the Only One capable of giving a meaning of life. | The brothers of the square spend hours on the day available for anyone wishing to approach them and listen to them.  |
